Voxx

Voxx started spinning vinyl back in the day with a DJ Crew (Dynamic Sounds Inc.) out of El Paso, TX and Las Cruses NM. Back then electronic club music was on its way and evolving into its present form, Voxx wore out plenty of vinyl spinning stuff like "look Out weekend" by Debbie Deb, "Let The Music Play" by Shannon Etc... This was the begging of the Freestyle music scene that later died by the early 90's.

By the early late 80’s-90’s Voxx was ready to hit the club scene, now you have to remember Voxx grew up on the border (El Paso/Juarez) so clubbing started when we were in middle school. Crossing the border and hitting all the clubs on the Juarez strip was a weekly event, and why not? You could drink all night till 4am, and then do it all over again the next day. Well, Voxx got a gig as the resident weekend DJ at a club called "Cosmos" and later moved over to the "Alive" nightclub. At that time Euro-influenced club music from groups like The Cure, New Order, Depeche Mode, Anything Box and Erasure were ripping through all the clubs. The scene was on fire.

By the early 90's Freestyle music was dead due to over saturation of the genre, and the border club scene had become stagnant. In the mid 90's Voxx landed a gig at an all dance music radio station in Albuquerque where Voxx began to see an underground movement of electronic music start taking hold and involved himself in the new scene. Electronic music such as Techno & Trance had taken hold as Voxx's music of choice. The seed of raving was being planted and in 1997 Voxx moved to Arizona where he continued to be involved in the Rave scene and its culture. In 2003 Voxx moved to his present day home in Las Vegas, Nevada where he continues his love of all electronic music, especially Trance music that continues to be his preference when performing.
